We're partnering exclusively with a long-established engineering and manufacturing organisation in Manchester that is now looking to appoint a Quality Inspector to join their precision-focused production team.
As a Quality Inspector, you'll take ownership of final inspections on medical devices and sub-assemblies, ensuring every product leaving the site meets exacting standards of safety and compliance. The Role - Quality Inspector

Conduct final inspections of medical devices and sub-assemblies.
Manage and maintain quality control records and documentation.
Operate and improve complaint-handling systems, including diagnosis of faulty components and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with production, design, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Evaluate and enhance inspection and testing procedures to drive improvement.
Monitor the performance of production and repair personnel to identify training and support needs.
Promote cost-effective practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

About You

HNC in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
IT-proficient, with working knowledge of MS Office, Sage, and database systems.
A methodical and collaborative approach with a genuine passion for quality.

Hours & Package

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary: 25,000 - 26,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Permanent, full-time position with excellent company benefits.
